At Embention we have been with a clear mission for more than 17 years, to enable drones to populate our skies.
We provide our more than 600 customers in 70 countries with the development of avionics, critical components and high-performance software for their professional UAS (UAVs, drones, eVTOLs...) in accordance with aeronautical certification standards.
The projects that our engineers carry out are very varied, from urban aerial mobility, through freight transport to space rocket recovery projects.
The core of our company lies in our R&D team made up of more than 100 engineers with multiple specialities who, together with the rest of the team, make up a total of more than 150 professionals with the same objective.
Due to our IPO and the interest of the market, we are looking to expand our most important resource, the human resource. If you have experience in electric motors and feel attracted by our mission, we are looking for you.
🚀 What would be your mission?
Our goal is to design electric motors for aircraft with high power-to-weight ratio, using axial flux topology and mixed metal-composites manufacturing.
💡 What would be your responsibilities?
Development and testing of electric motors according to aeronautical standards and customer needs.
Definition of the necessary tests and procedures
Analysis and definition of requirements
Design of architectures
Design of schematics and stator PCBs
Validation and verification of functionalities for integration.
🕵️♀️ What do we need?
Degree in electrical engineering or similar (specialising in electrical machines)
Knowledge of electric motor design
General knowledge of electrical machines
Experience in power electronics: high power DC/DC converters, inverters, etc.
📚 What do we value?
Experience with COTS, automotive, space and military electronic components.
Experience with thermal and EMI/EMC analysis
Knowledge of Eagle, DO-254, Git
Knowledge of UAV industry
Willingness to work in a team
